In this workshop, we will go beyond the basics as you gain a greater understanding of the fundamental concepts we've covered, and delve into more advanced techniques for creating effective images. You will deepen your understanding of the concepts through practice, leaving you with a much greater command over taking photos in different situations. Plus we will take a look at things like filters, file management, and editing your images after capture.

This class will be conducted with weekly projects tailored to the interests of the participants involved. We will meet bi-weekly via zoom for a review of the past assignment and to cover new material.

This will be open primarily for those who have done my Basics Workshop, or can demonstrate sufficient knowledge prior to the start.

Deepen the instruction we started in Basics, and go beyond:

  • Intro to file management - Where and how to store all your photos
  • Intro to image editing in Lightroom
  • Filters - Types and uses
